I doubt we will ever see any of them on this iteration anyhow. Yea, I'm there with your on wanting those features. Because nothing out there has this particular feel, the perfect blend of Q3A and Q1. I don't want this game to become completely unplayable if in a few years Bethesda decides to pull the plug. This is why I would very much prefer to have Quake Champions released in a complete format that has all these missing features (all of them related to server binaries). To me it feels like the Quake 1 sequel I never got.Īnd no amount of Diabotical is going to change that. What I love most about Quake Champions is that it's an arena shooter that has a very particular tone / atmosphere. Doesn't matter if you've been a fan of the franchise for 20 years or you just discovered it. From their point of view if you don't have a good enough connection to their servers you can just go. The sad truth is that Bethesda doesn't give a flying. Most of them left long ago and didn't look back. Yet all these people have been labeled a 'vocal minority'.
